The Story

Narcotico by Meo Fusciuni, launched in 2015 and crafted by perfumer Giuseppe Imprezzabile, is a fragrance that captures the essence of an enigmatic journey through time. The composition opens with incense, creating an immediate sense of ritual and contemplation, before evolving into benzoin and tonka bean, which add warmth and depth to the heart notes. The base is anchored by patchouli, oud, musk, and vanilla, offering a smoky, balsamic complexity that lingers on the skin. As Giuseppe Imprezzabile describes it, "This scent tells a time of my life, the life of a visionary." It embodies a distinctive blend of warmth and mystery, making Narcotico a compelling exploration of olfactory emotion.

Application Tips

Apply Narcotico to pulse points for a long-lasting experience. The incense top note is fleeting, so rely on the rich base notes of oud and vanilla to carry the fragrance throughout the day. It pairs well with cooler weather when its warmth can truly shine.

Giuseppe Imprezzabile portrait

Giuseppe Imprezzabile was born in Mazara del Vallo, Sicily, in 1977, and studied Herbal Techniques at the pharmaceutical faculty in Parma before continuing into anthropology and ethnobotany. Perfumery became his full-time work from 2009, working under the pseudonym Meo Fusciuni — combining his father's nickname 'Meo' and his grandfather's nickname 'Fusciuni' — and preferring to describe himself as an 'Aromatario' rather than a perfumer.
