Launched in 2017 by Tom Ford and crafted by perfumer Honorine Blanc, Noir Anthracite is a chypre fragrance that plays with contrasts and depth. The composition opens with a vibrant burst of Sichuan pepper and ginger, bringing an invigorating freshness to the senses. As it evolves, bergamot and spices intertwine with herbal notes like galbanum, creating a rich blend of warm and fresh spicy elements. The heart introduces jasmine for a touch of floral warmth, while the base layers in ebony, cedar, birch, leather, sandalwood, patchouli, and amberwood, resulting in an enveloping smoky and leathery finish.
