Nordic Fougère by Alfred Dunhill is a composition that balances the crisp freshness of northern air with the warmth and depth of woody notes. Launched in 2022, it was created by perfumers Jérôme Epinette and Michel Almairac. The fragrance opens with bright basil and kumquat, which cut through the spiciness of cardamom and black pepper, creating a dynamic tension. As it evolves, geranium and bamboo leaf provide an herbal-green freshness before settling into a base of sandalwood, vanilla, and patchouli that reads as earthy warmth.
