Nuit d'Issey Polaris, launched in 2020 and crafted by Dominique Ropion, is an intriguing blend of fresh spicy and woody notes that evoke a sense of nocturnal exploration. The fragrance opens with the crispness of cypress and black pepper, followed by bergamot, creating a sharp and invigorating top layer. As it settles, agarwood (oud) and patchouli lend depth and warmth to the composition, while cedar adds a subtle earthiness. Vanilla and amber provide a sweet yet smoky base, enhanced by leather and labdanum for an animalic touch that grounds the scent in mystery.
