The Quick Read
Well loved by wearers — a white floral, citrus composition with a yellow floral undertone. Voted best for spring and fall wear — and genuinely unisex.

Launched in 2010 by Xerjoff, Oesel was crafted by perfumer Richard Melchio to blend the freshness of citrus and green notes with the warmth of woody and floral accords. The composition opens with African Orange Flower and Petitgrain, followed by Lemon and Mimosa, creating a bright and crisp top layer that contrasts beautifully with the heart's rich White Flowers, Jasmine, and Rose. As it settles into its base of Tobacco Blossom, Amber, Patchouli, and Virginia Cedar, Oesel transforms into a warm, enveloping scent that is both elegant and comforting.

Application Tips
Apply Oesel lightly — its top notes are bright and fleeting, but the base notes develop slowly over time. It's best worn during cooler hours when the warmth of the amber and patchouli can be fully appreciated.
