Launched in 2013 by Yves Saint Laurent and crafted by perfumers Jean Amic and Jean-Louis Sieuzac, Opium Collector's Edition 2013 is a reimagining of the iconic Oriental Spicy fragrance. The composition opens with bright citrus notes from mandarin orange and bergamot, creating an invigorating freshness that contrasts sharply with the warm, spicy heart. Lily-of-the-Valley and jasmine sambac add a delicate floral touch before giving way to the rich, balsamic base of myrrh, cloves, amber, opoponax, patchouli, and vanilla.
