Orangerie Venise by Giorgio Armani was launched in 2019 and crafted by the perfumers Dominique Ropion and Claire Liégent. This fragrance opens with a vibrant burst of citrus — bitter orange, bergamot, and neroli creating an immediate sense of freshness and brightness. As it develops, buchu or agathosma adds a subtle spiciness that contrasts beautifully against the aromatic top notes. The base notes of ambroxan, cedar, and moss ground this composition with earthy warmth, making Orangerie Venise a perfect blend of lightness and depth.

Application Tips
Orangerie Venise is best applied in two sprays to allow the citrus top notes to shine through initially. The base notes will emerge after about an hour, so it's ideal for a day that transitions into evening. Avoid heavy application on very warm days as the spicy elements can become overpowering.

Claire Liégent was born in the Champagne region and grew up in her father's restaurant, developing an early sensitivity to scent. She trained at ISIPCA from 2007 and apprenticed at Symrise, then worked at IFF and IFF-LMR in Grasse before moving to Takasago, where she has created fragrances for Giorgio Armani, Lancôme, and Yves Saint Laurent, including YSL Y. In 2012 she co-founded the Parisian niche boutique Nose.
