Launched in 1996, Organza by Givenchy is an Oriental Floral fragrance that combines the sculptural elegance of its bottle with a complex composition crafted by Sophie Labbé. The scent opens with fresh spicy notes and green accords before evolving into a heart of white florals like gardenia and tuberose, supported by a woody base of guaiac wood and cedar. Its launch campaign starred model Yasmine Ghauri under the slogan 'Quelque chose en moi d'éternel' ('Something eternal in me'), capturing the enduring charm of its composition.
The bottle itself, designed by Serge Manceau with John Galliano, is an icon within perfume collector circles. It embodies a Pygmalion-myth concept, transforming a fluted Ionic column into a draped feminine silhouette — a perfect reflection of Givenchy's blend of French elegance and American glamour.

Application Tips
Organza blooms slowly on skin; allow it a few minutes to settle before you notice its full depth. The powdery base notes are best experienced close to the skin rather than from across a room.
