Alif by Orientica, launched in 2018, is a Woody Chypre fragrance that seamlessly blends warmth and complexity. The composition opens with the bright zest of lemon and saffron, creating an immediate contrast against its deeper notes. Saffron adds a hint of metallic richness, while geranium brings a floral freshness to the heart. As it settles, cedar, sandalwood, and patchouli form a warm spicy base that is further enhanced by amber and balsamic accords, giving Alif a distinctively oriental character. The inclusion of leather and tobacco notes adds a layer of sophistication and depth.
Apply Alif sparingly; its rich base notes develop slowly and can become overpowering if over-applied. The metallic and balsamic accords make it ideal for cooler evenings or indoor settings where its warmth is most appreciated.
