Oud Assam by Rania J was launched in 2013 and is a striking Oriental Woody fragrance for both women and men, crafted by perfumer Rania Jouaneh. The composition opens with the brightness of bitter orange, sweet orange, and bergamot before unfolding into the rich depths of Indian oud, vetiver, and olibanum. This contrast between fresh citrus and deep earthy notes creates a complex and intriguing aroma that is both warm and spicy.

Rania Jouaneh was born in Jordan, the great-granddaughter of a Middle Eastern spice trader, and moved with her family through Morocco before settling in France. After working in business management and tourism, she trained in perfumery at Cinquième Sens in Paris in her late thirties, gaining recognition for her fragrance Ambre Loup in 2012 and going on to found the niche brand Rania J.
