Pegasus by Parfums de Marly was launched in 2011 and created by perfumer Hamid Merati-Kashani. This Oriental Fougere fragrance opens with a bright citrus-aromatic blend of bergamot, pink pepper, and bitter almond before settling into a rich heart of heliotrope, jasmine, and lavender. The base notes of vanilla, sandalwood, amber, musk, and cedar create a warm, powdery backdrop that adds depth to the composition. Pegasus is often compared to Christian Dior's Hypnotic Poison due to its gourmand character, leading to debate over whether it reads as too feminine or unisex for a men’s release. Nonetheless, it has become one of the most heavily cloned and duped fragrances in Parfums de Marly's lineup.
