Pho Breakfast by d'Annam is a vibrant Woody Aquatic fragrance that captures the essence of a Vietnamese breakfast. Launched in 2023 and crafted by perfumer Anh Ngo with IFF, it opens with fresh spicy notes of basil and ginger, followed by the aromatic complexity of star anise and cilantro. The citrus brightness of mandarin orange and cardamom adds a zesty freshness that transitions into a soft, herbal base of patchouli and cedarwood. This composition is both invigorating and comforting, much like enjoying a steaming bowl of pho on a cool morning.

Anh Ngo is a Singapore-based perfumer at IFF with a degree from ISIPCA. Still a trainee when d'Annam founder Nick Hoang sought out a Vietnamese perfumer, he went on to create the label's Enchanting Vietnam and Memories of Japan collections, and has also created fragrances for Mischief Academy.
