The story behind the bottle.
Tome by Pineward Perfumes, launched in 2025 and crafted by Nicolas Nilson, is a fragrance that oscillates between the warmth of leather and tobacco and the crispness of paper and earthy musk. The composition opens with an intriguing blend of woody and paper accords, creating a tension that gives way to a heart of animalic and powdery notes. It settles into a base of tobacco and sweet earthiness, evoking the intimate warmth of a well-worn book in a cozy study.
This fragrance has a rich base that unfolds gradually over time. Apply it sparingly — one or two sprays are enough to capture its full depth. The earthy sweetness blooms best close to skin, making it ideal for intimate moments rather than filling a room.
