Launched in 2025 by Michael Kors and crafted by perfumer Gaël Montero, Pour Homme Absolu is a Woody Aromatic fragrance that balances bright citrus and aromatic freshness with warm spiciness and rich woody notes. The composition opens with lemon and peppermint for an invigorating start, while cardamom and pink pepper add layers of warmth and complexity. At the heart, lavender and rosyfolia soften the blend before settling into a base of incense, cedarwood, akigalawood, and vetiver that reads as earthy and grounded. Of French-Spanish heritage and raised in Madrid, Gaël Montero studied perfumery at Montpellier University and was mentored by perfumer Jordi Fernandez in Barcelona. After working as a Perfumer Assistant at Procter & Gamble, he joined Givaudan's Perfumery School in Paris, rising from lab assistant to junior perfumer, and now works as a perfumer for Memo Paris, based in Dubai.
