Precious Oud by Van Cleef & Arpels, launched in 2011 and crafted by perfumer Amandine Clerc-Marie, is an Oriental Floral fragrance that marries the richness of oud with a delicate floral heart. The composition opens with pink pepper and bergamot, setting a vibrant stage for the tuberose and jasmine to take center stage. Incense adds a smoky depth, while agarwood (oud) provides a woody warmth that is further enhanced by sandalwood, patchouli, and vetiver. Ambergris rounds out the base with an animalic touch, creating a scent that is both luxurious and intimate.
