Launched in 2024 by Rasasi, Monarch is a modern Oriental Fougere that balances bright citrus with warm powdery and woody notes. The fragrance opens with mandarin and lemon, creating an immediate freshness that contrasts beautifully with the richer heart of star anise and jasmine. This interplay continues into the base where sandalwood and white musk provide a soft, lingering warmth, grounding the composition in a sense of lasting elegance.
One or two sprays is sufficient to capture the balance between the fresh top notes and the warm base. The fragrance develops best close to skin, so avoid over-application in open spaces. It pairs well with daytime activities but can also carry you through a relaxed evening.
