“Red Hoba by Xerjoff is a Oriental Vanilla fragrance for women and men”
The Quick Read
Respected, if divisive — a woody, warm spicy composition with a musky undertone. Voted best for fall and winter wear — and genuinely unisex.

Red Hoba by Xerjoff, launched in 2014 and crafted by perfumer Chris Maurice, is a woody and spicy oriental scent that balances warmth with depth. The composition opens with cardamom and cinnamon, creating an initial burst of spice before settling into a heart of jasmine and orris, which adds a floral softness to the mix. This contrast gives way to a base rich in patchouli, incense, musk, and labdanum, resulting in a smoky, powdery warmth that lingers long after application.

Application Tips
Apply Red Hoba generously on pulse points for an all-day presence. The spicy notes are most prominent initially but give way to a rich, smoky base that develops over time, making it perfect for cooler evenings.
