The Story

Launched in 1993, Rose de Nuit by Serge Lutens is a Oriental Floral fragrance for both women and men. Created by perfumer Gilles Romey, it opens with a bold, intense rose that is immediately softened by powdery and musky notes. The heart of the composition features beeswax and honey, which give way to an animalic and woody base layered with amber. This interplay between floral intensity and warm, enveloping textures makes Rose de Nuit feel both lasting and deeply sensual.

Application Tips

Apply this fragrance in layers for the best effect — start with one spray to let the rose open up, then add another after ten minutes. The powdery and musky notes will blend seamlessly as they develop on your skin over time.
