Philippe Paparella-Paris grew up surrounded by his mother's and grandmothers' love for Y by Yves Saint Laurent, Coco, and N°5 by Chanel, developing a lasting passion for perfume and bottle-collecting. Over more than twenty years he has worked for Symrise in Shanghai, Dubai, and São Paulo, becoming a connoisseur of local tastes across Indonesia, China, Dubai, and Brazil. In 2022 he created five perfumes for the Numerus collection by Spiritum and received the International François Coty Prize.
