Launched in 2018 by Van Cleef & Arpels and crafted by perfumer Julien Rasquinet, Rose Rouge is a vibrant Oriental Floral fragrance for both women and men. The composition opens with the juicy burst of black currant and pink pepper before leading into the heart of rose and raspberry, where sweet fruity notes dance alongside floral elegance. This playful interplay gives way to a warm base of vanilla, cacao pod, vetiver, patchouli, benzoin, and musk, creating a rich blend that is both comforting and alluring.

Rasquinet who didn’t know anything about perfumery beyond his own passion for it, called Bourdon, who decided to take him instead of thousands of other candidates to be his last student, and bare his legacy, as Edmond Roudnitska had done with him.
