Launched in 2022 by Scents of Wood, Santal Umeshu is a woody fragrance crafted by perfumer Céline Barel. The composition opens with fresh and spicy notes that create an immediate sense of crispness and clarity before settling into a heart of aromatic and powdery accords. These are then anchored by a warm, balsamic base that evokes the richness of umeshu, a traditional Japanese plum wine, while still maintaining the woody integrity that Scents of Wood is known for.
