“Desert minimalism—effortless, sun-bleached elegance”
The Quick Read
Respected, if divisive — a fresh spicy, amber composition with a citrus undertone. Voted best for fall and winter wear, leaning masculine.

“I grew up in Grasse. The raw materials of perfumery are my mother tongue.”
François Demachy is the in-house perfumer-creator at Christian Dior, a title that places him among the most influential noses in the world. Born in Cannes and raised in Grasse — the historic capital of perfumery — he carries the craft in his blood. Before joining Dior in 2006, he spent two decades at Chanel. At Dior, Demachy has reimagined the house's olfactory heritage while pushing it forward, creating Sauvage (now the world's best-selling men's fragrance), Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet, and the prestigious La Collection Privée series.
