Obsidian by Scentologia, created by perfumers Théo Belmas and Thomas Obroki, is a new Oriental Woody fragrance launched in 2024. It opens with fresh spicy notes of rosemary and saffron, balanced by the aromatic brightness of bergamot. The heart unfolds with violet and orris, adding an unexpected floral softness that contrasts with the powdery warmth of cashmere wood and tonka bean. This composition is anchored by a rich base of patchouli, amber, and vanilla, creating a sense of depth and complexity.
Apply this fragrance lightly — the spicy top notes are vibrant but fleeting. The powdery and woody base will emerge gradually over time, ensuring that Obsidian remains close to your skin rather than projecting into the air. It pairs well with evening wear or a cozy night in.
