Secret Oud by Caron was launched in 2018 and crafted by perfumer Richard Fraysse, blending the opulent warmth of oud with fresh spicy notes and earthy herbal accords. The fragrance opens with a burst of Damask Rose and Jasmine, which gives way to the rich depth of Agarwood (Oud) and Labdanum. This composition is both bold and intimate, creating an olfactory experience that is as nuanced as it is enveloping.

Secret Oud is best applied in small amounts — one or two sprays are enough to let the rich base notes develop gradually. It pairs well with cooler evenings when its warmth can be fully appreciated without overpowering.
Richard Fraysse

Richard Fraysse, a third-generation perfumer and son of Lanvin's André Fraysse (creator of Arpège), was the in-house perfumer for the House of Caron — a company that, from its founding, has always employed its own dedicated nose. His creations for Caron include Délire de Roses (2011), Impact Pour Un Homme (2005), and L'Anarchiste (2000). He has since retired, passing the role to his son William Fraysse.
