Launched in 2015 by Thierry Wasser, Shalimar Cologne by Guerlain is a modern interpretation of the house's classic elegance. The fragrance opens with vibrant citrus notes — lemon, bergamot, and lime — that create an immediate freshness. These top notes give way to a heart of freesia, rose, and jasmine, which blend harmoniously into a powdery and aromatic base of vanilla, orris, and white musk. This composition is a proof of Guerlain's enduring tradition of using luxurious materials, such as French vanilla, while also incorporating the innovative spirit that has defined the brand since its founding in 1828.
