Soft Focus, crafted by Bruno Fazzolari and launched in 2024, is an innovative Woody Aquatic fragrance that marries the bright freshness of tropical fruits with the earthy warmth of driftwood and leather. The composition opens with notes of guava and lime, creating a vibrant yet balanced top layer. This brightness gives way to the heart notes of pineapple and sea salt, which add a salty tang reminiscent of coastal breezes. As it settles, the base of sandalwood and leather provides a warm, grounding finish that keeps the scent from feeling too light or fleeting.

Bruno Fazzolari, a self-taught perfumer and visual artist who grew up between the southwestern United States and France, began creating scents in 2003 tied to his experience of synesthesia and his paintings. He sold his fragrances directly from his artist website starting in 2013, quit his job as an art professor as sales grew, and launched the brand FZOTIC in 2017, hand-crafting everything in his San Francisco studio.
