Spirito by Meo Fusciuni, launched in 2019 and crafted by Giuseppe Imprezzabile, is a complex blend of aromatic, woody, and musky notes that create an intriguing contrast. The fragrance opens with the freshness of angelica and chamomile, giving way to a heart of herbal notes like hyssop and elemi resin, which lend a green and spicy depth. As it settles into its base, vetiver and guaiac wood provide earthy warmth, while musk and tonka bean add an enveloping powdery quality.

Application Tips
Spirito's aromatic opening fades quickly, so apply a bit more than you think necessary to ensure the warm base notes are noticeable. The musk and tonka bean take time to bloom, so give it at least an hour before reassessing its presence.

Giuseppe Imprezzabile was born in Mazara del Vallo, Sicily, in 1977, and studied Herbal Techniques at the pharmaceutical faculty in Parma before continuing into anthropology and ethnobotany. Perfumery became his full-time work from 2009, working under the pseudonym Meo Fusciuni — combining his father's nickname 'Meo' and his grandfather's nickname 'Fusciuni' — and preferring to describe himself as an 'Aromatario' rather than a perfumer.
