Tales from Zanzibar by Memoirs Of A Perfume Collector is a fragrance that captures the essence of an exotic island journey through its vibrant and layered composition. Launched in 2021, it was created by perfumer Harry Sherwood to evoke the lush tropical atmosphere of Zanzibar. The opening notes of lime, mint, and blood mandarin bring a refreshing burst of citrus and green aromas that are invigoratingly bright. As the scent evolves, pink pepper and guava add a touch of sweetness and spiciness, while cassis and coconut create a rich and fruity heart. The base notes of musk, ambergris, moss, and agarwood (oud) ground the composition with warmth and depth.
