The Story

The Library Collection Opus II by Amouage was launched in 2010 and is a creation of perfumer Michèle Saramito. This fragrance blends warm spicy accords with aromatic freshness, leading to a smoky woody base that evokes the essence of an Omani library. The composition opens with pink pepper and wormwood, creating a fresh yet complex layer before settling into the heart notes of lavender, jasmine, and rose. Incense adds a spiritual depth, while amber and musk provide a grounding warmth. This scent is both traditional and modern, reflecting Amouage's commitment to blending Middle Eastern heritage with contemporary perfumery.

Application Tips

Apply one or two sprays to pulse points for a balanced experience. The smoky and woody base notes develop over time, so allow it to settle before heading out. This fragrance pairs well with cooler weather when the incense and amber notes come alive.
