Jean-Christophe Hérault created The One Mysterious Night for Dolce&Gabbana in 2018, blending the brand's signature Italian elegance with an enigmatic and richly layered composition. The fragrance opens with a bold saffron and grapefruit accord, which cuts through the sweetness to create tension. This gives way to a heart of rose and agarwood (oud), where the floral notes play against the smoky depth of the oud. A warm spicy base of clary sage and metallic accents adds complexity, while labdanum and tonka bean anchor the scent with an earthy warmth.
