Launched in 2020, Tobacco Mandarin by Byredo is a composition that balances the fresh and spicy with the rich and smoky. The fragrance opens with cumin and mandarin orange, creating an immediate contrast between bright citrus and warm spices. At its heart lies tobacco, complemented by leather and labdanum, which adds depth and complexity. The base notes of olibanum, agarwood (oud), and sandalwood create a woody, slightly animalic backdrop that keeps the scent intriguing throughout the day.
