Released in 2009, Trussardi Inside Iced pairs coffee with cardamom in a way that keeps it from turning into a dessert — the spice cuts the roasted sweetness before it can go syrupy, and oakmoss drags the whole thing back toward something drier and mossier than a typical gourmand. Bergamot and green notes open cold and brief, more preamble than statement, before the coffee-cardamom heart takes over. Musk and oakmoss in the base are where it settles, giving the fragrance a slightly damp, earthy weight underneath all that espresso.
