The Story

Launched in 2016, Turbulences by Louis Vuitton is an Oriental Floral fragrance created by the renowned perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud. The composition opens with a bright jasmine note that gives way to a heart of tuberose, magnolia, and rose, before settling into a base of leather, musk, and sandalwood. This fragrance was part of Louis Vuitton's first perfume collection, marking the brand’s entry into the world of fine fragrances after years of preparation. Each note in Turbulences is carefully chosen to evoke an emotional journey, with its opulent blend of white florals and animalic accords creating a sense of complexity and depth.

Application Tips

Turbulences has a rich base that takes time to develop on skin. Allow it to settle for at least an hour before layering with other scents or wearing out. The leather and musk notes are best appreciated in cooler settings, where they add a subtle warmth without overpowering.
