The Quick Read
Respected, if divisive — a citrus, white floral composition with a woody undertone. Voted best for summer wear — and genuinely unisex.

Tuscan Soul by Salvatore Ferragamo was launched in 2008 and crafted by the renowned perfumer Pierre Bourdon. This unisex EDP opens with a burst of citrus from bergamot and petitgrain, creating an immediate freshness that feels both invigorating and vibrant. The heart of orange blossom and magnolia adds a delicate floral warmth, while the fig tree note brings a subtle sweetness that balances the composition perfectly. At its base, iris flower grounds the fragrance with earthy sophistication, making it feel as if you're walking through a Tuscan garden — crisp, fresh, and deeply aromatic.

Application Tips
Apply Tuscan Soul with one or two sprays — it opens quickly and maintains its vibrancy throughout the day. The fresh spicy notes fade within an hour, so reapply if you want to keep that initial freshness. It pairs well with light layers for a warm spring or fall day.
Pierre Bourdon
Founding perfumer · 36 fragrances

As Edmond Roudnitska’s only student, Pierre Bourdon was informed early on by the philosophy that perfumes should be created as works of art. With this in mind, Pierre went on to revolutionize perfume trends in the 1980s with his men’s perfume “Cool Water” for Davidoff. That was when he met Frédéric Malle. Having realized that they shared the same vision of perfume making, the two became like family to one another. It was obvious to Frédéric, when he created Editions de Parfums, that Pierre should compose its first perfume, Iris Poudre.
