Launched in 2008 by Rabanne and crafted by perfumer Marie Salamagne, Ultrared is a Floral Fruity fragrance that balances the sweetness of red currant and strawberry with the warmth of vanilla and cedar. The composition opens with fresh red currant and juicy strawberry, giving way to marshmallow and licorice for a soft, spicy contrast. Star anise adds an unexpected depth, while jasmine infuses the heart with floral notes before settling into a powdery base of vanilla and cedar.
