Upcycled Mandarin by Les Liquides Imaginaires is a composition that balances the brightness of citrus with warm spicy and aromatic notes. Launched in 2025, this fragrance was created by perfumers Carol Belli and Kosuke Minakata. The Italian mandarin and green mandarin open with a vibrant freshness, while pink pepper adds a subtle spiciness. Carol Belli, a Brazilian perfumer whose work draws on indigenous ingredients and traditional aromas, graduated from the Givaudan Perfumery School in 2023 and now works as a perfumer at Givaudan. Her notable collaboration Air Popped Petals, created with Rodrigo Flores-Roux, combines popcorn's salty warmth with gardenia and star jasmine.
