“Valaya by Parfums de Marly is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women”
The Quick Read
Respected, if divisive — a musky, citrus composition with a white floral undertone. Voted best for spring and summer wear, leaning feminine.

Launched in 2023 by Parfums de Marly, Valaya was crafted by perfumer Quentin Bisch. It opens with a vibrant burst of citrus and aldehydes, followed by the soft florals of orange blossom and lily-of-the-valley. The heart introduces a powdery touch with petalia and nympheal, while the base settles into a warm embrace of musk, ambroxan, and vanilla. Despite its popularity as one of Parfums de Marly’s bestselling releases, Valaya is often criticized for causing 'nose blindness' due to its heavy ambroxan content.

Application Tips
Given its tendency to cause 'nose blindness,' it's best applied sparingly in the beginning. Allow it time to develop on your skin before adding more. The aldehydic top notes are bright but fleeting, so focus on the warmth of the base notes that emerge after an hour.
