Vetiver 46 by Le Labo, launched in 2006 and crafted by perfumer Mark Buxton, is an ode to the earthy richness of vetiver. The composition begins with a fresh spicy accord, featuring bergamot and black pepper, which cuts through the sweetness while adding a subtle warmth. As it settles into its woody base, vetiver and cedar create a grounding effect, enhanced by labdanum and guaiac wood for an earthy depth that is both comforting and complex.

Application Tips
Apply Vetiver 46 in light layers — it blooms gradually over time. The top notes dissipate quickly, but the base notes carry its depth for hours. It pairs well with cooler weather when the earthy undertones can truly shine.
