Launched in 1994, Encounter by Victoria's Secret is an Oriental Vanilla fragrance that balances powdery and fruity notes with warm amber and musk. The composition opens with the sweetness of peach and mimosa, which gives way to a heart of violet, rose, and orchid. A base of vanilla flower, musk, amber, sandalwood, vanilla, and caramel creates a rich, enveloping warmth that lingers throughout the day.
This fragrance is best applied in layers — start with one spray to allow the powdery top notes to develop, then add another layer after an hour for the full depth of the amber and vanilla base. It pairs well with a warm sweater or a soft cardigan.
