Calice Becker (Asancheyev-Becker) is a French master perfumer and director of the Givaudan Perfumery School, whose fascination with perfume began as a child asking how flowers get inside a bottle of eau de cologne. She went on to create some of the era's most recognized fragrances, including Dior J'adore, and to work with YSL, Marc Jacobs, and By Kilian, favoring compositions built around an element of surprise. As of 2018 she served as president of the International Society of Perfume Creators, and her career has been recognized with The Fragrance Foundation's Lifetime Achievement Award.
