Wood Jasmin by BDK Parfums, launched in 2016 and crafted by perfumer Camille Leguay, is an Oriental Floral fragrance that blends the warmth of woody accords with the sensuality of jasmine. The composition opens with a fruity burst from plum and pear before transitioning into a heart of Jasmine Sambac and Turkish Rose, which are supported by the smoky notes of incense and cypriol oil. The base is anchored by rich vanilla, balsamic resins, and patchouli, creating an enveloping warmth that feels like the embrace of a well-loved piece of furniture.

Camille Leguay began her perfumery career as an assistant at Mane, learning composition by weighing formulas and training her nose daily, then worked with clients in Mexico and Chile before joining Cinquième Sens in France, where she created Wood Jasmin for BDK Parfums and Cuir Raffiné and Oud Yssé for Lorga Parfums. Frustrated by mass-market constraints, she launched her own eponymous fragrance line in 2023.
