Launched in 1994 by Rabanne and crafted by perfumers Gérard Anthony and Rosendo Mateu, XS is a Woody Aromatic fragrance for men that balances fresh, spicy notes with woody warmth. The opening of bergamot, mint, rosemary, lemon, and tarragon sets a crisp and invigorating tone, while the heart of Brazilian rosewood, sage, bourbon geranium, and coriander adds complexity and depth. The base notes of sandalwood, musk, oakmoss, cedar, vanilla, patchouli, and ambergris create a warm, enveloping finish that lingers on the skin.
