Launched in 2020 by Zaharoff, Signature Noir is a composition that balances fresh and spicy notes with rich woody undertones. Perfumer Claude Dir crafts an aromatic journey that begins with the sharp zest of basil and pink pepper, paired with mandarin orange and bergamot for a refreshing start. The heart melds coriander and ginger with cypress and balsam fir to create a warm, earthy complexity. The base notes of myrrh, sandalwood, olibanum, tonka bean, and agarwood (oud) provide a deep, enveloping warmth that lingers long after the initial freshness fades.
Apply this fragrance generously to ensure that the rich base notes have time to develop. The fresh top notes dissipate quickly, so two or three sprays will help capture both the initial freshness and the deeper woody warmth throughout the day.
