Alie Kiral

Alie Kiral, who studied cultural anthropology, traces her fragrance obsession to a childhood bottle of Tinkerbell perfume and stolen spritzes of her mother's White Diamonds. She trained through the Institute for Art and Olfaction's online experimental perfumery class during the pandemic and founded the Chicago-based independent brand Pearfat Parfum, known for whimsical, nostalgic scents built from unconventional notes like seaweed and vinyl.
