Ashley Santiago

Ashley Santiago discovered perfume through blogs as a teenager and, while working at a San Francisco fragrance boutique, was encouraged by perfumers to pursue chemistry as a path into the field. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a chemistry degree in 2016, then earned a master's in perfumery at ISIPCA in France. She became the youngest perfumer, and the only American, at Givaudan's Fine Fragrance Creative Centre in Paris, developing fragrances for houses including YSL, Prada, Marc Jacobs, and Maison Margiela. In 2025 she launched her own niche brand, French Cowboy, with her husband and co-founder Adrien Ollat.
