John Gamba

John Gamba came to perfumery from a background in chemistry and the medical field, beginning his career at the fragrance house Dragoco, where he rose from lab technician to leading perfumer. Over more than twenty years at Givaudan, he has created signature fragrances for brands including Calvin Klein, Bath & Body Works, Avon, and Natura, and collaborated with celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears, and Christina Aguilera, drawing inspiration from cooking and gardening. In 2026 he received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Society of Perfumers at the World Perfumery Congress in Monterey, California.
