
Maria Candida Gentile
Maria Candida Gentile was captivated as a child by the Clair Matin roses in her home garden, and while living in the Valle d'Aosta, learned traditional herbal healing knowledge. She became the first Italian woman admitted to the Institute of Perfumery in Grasse, where she studied perfumery and composition, and went on to found her eponymous Maison, holding the title of Maître Parfumeur. She creates fine fragrances, candles, and custom scents, and has exhibited in artistic perfumery showcases in Milan and Florence.
