Pia Long

Pia Long, born and raised in Helsinki, Finland, has lived in the UK since 1992 and graduated from the London College of Fashion after an early career in film, TV, and theatre. She began selling fragrance as a teenager in the 1980s, trained as a perfumer from 2006, and spent seven years as Junior Perfumer at Lush before co-founding the independent British house Olfiction with Nick Gilbert in 2016. She won the Institute for Art and Olfaction's Septimus Piesse Visionary Award in 2024 and published the book Demo Accords.
