Pierre Guillaume grew up in a family of chemists, collecting essential oils and fragrant materials from an early age.
At 25, he set out to recreate the smell of his father's cigar cellar, producing '02 Cozé,' a spicy-tobacco accord that drew attention across the perfume blogosphere. In 2010 he founded Pierre Guillaume Diffusion, complete with an in-house production studio and raw-material cellar, and Pierre Guillaume Paris now operates as an independent, family-owned House of Composition sold in nearly 390 points of sale across 26 countries.
