Sandy Wong

Sandy Wong grew up in Sydney, Australia, curious about her mother's miniature perfume collection from Hong Kong. She holds a PhD in Chemistry and began experimenting with scent during her doctoral studies, eventually combining her interest in perfumery with her love of tea to found Chasing Scents in 2021, an independent Sydney-based perfume house that builds fragrances around teas, natural extracts, and resins, rooted in cultural heritage with a modern sensibility.
